The George Mason University top page is managed by the Web Communications division of University Relations.

Highlight Buttons

Currently, gmu.edu has three highlight buttons on the bottom right of the page. These buttons are generally used to highlight special events, and things of interest to the university community. They are kept in a random rotation, and refreshed frequently.

Generally, a highlight button request will only be accepted if it meets the following conditions:

  • Function is a University sponsored event, survey or University-wide announcement.
  • Function is non-profit.
  • Function is open to the entire University community.
  • Web site linked from the highlight button complies with the Visual Identity Guidelines.

Also note that a highlight buttons will not be posted more than 30 days prior to an event or activity.
