George Mason University provides 20 MB of space for students, faculty, and staff to create a personal web site on mason.gmu.edu.

Personal sites have a web address like http://mason.gmu.edu/~username where username is what comes before the @gmu.edu in your Mason email address.

Student Organizations

First, the student organization must be officially recognized by the university:

Once an organization is recognized, a directory can be requested on www.gmu.edu. Generally, this directory will be created in the www.gmu.edu/org/ folder.

Colleges, Departments, and Other University Units

Colleges and departments can request a directory on www.gmu.edu or gunston.gmu.edu. Generally, departments should setup their sites on www.gmu.edu, unless Microsoft technologies such as ASP and Microsoft Access are required, in which case an account on gunston.gmu.edu should be requested.
