Blackboard Campus Edition
Blackboard Campus Edition is George Mason University's new learning management system that provides instructors with an environment to setup quizzes, discussion forums, and other interactive features.
All courses will be using Blackboard starting in Summer 2008. The old LMS, WebCT will be phased out.
Classweb
Classweb provides faculty with 20 MB of space to host course-related materials.
Townhall
Townhall is a web-based conferencing and collaboration suite of tools that is easy to use for holding asynchronous class discussions and synchronous chat sessions, as well as to post course material - syllabi, assignments, hyperlinks to online readings and other Web material. It supports a number of non-traditional tools for online collaboration, such as Weblogs, Wikis (collaborative editing), brainstorming, and polling/voting. Townhall's emphasis on communication and collaboration tools makes it a good place to host special interest or departmental groups related to your research or other professional activities.
